I saw this interesting "fellow" while I was hiking to a hot
springs in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The Ostrich is the
largest bird and this this one weighed over 200 pounds.
They can easily outrun anyone so we tried not to upset him.
He was very curious but was very nervous and didn't hold still
very long.

A seldom seen Crested Saguaro Cactus. This Crested Saguaro
is near Cave Creek Trail #4, South of Seven Springs. You must
hike two miles from the trailhead to see the cactus and then
climb about 500 feet up a steep mountain to get close enough to
see the detail of the cactus.
According to the Saguaro National Park in Southern Arizona, only
one Saguaro cactus in 250,000 is crested.

A small portion of the fifteen-mile stretch of the rugged Na
Pali Coastline on the North West shore of Kauai island,
Hawaii. Na Pali literally means "the Cliffs" in Hawaiian.
Shown here is the red dirt cliffs at Awa,awapuhi. Much of
the coast is inaccessible because of the way the cliffs drop
straight down into the ocean.
